Mailing List

The Brethren History and Genealogy mailing list provides an opportunity to correspond and exchange information with members and others who subscribe to the list. The list is hosted by Groups.io.

Originally Joe Bosserman created the list on the Indiana University servers until they were hacked, resulting in requiring all non-university sites having to look elsewhere. Most went to rootsweb and were ably hosted for many years. The list was hosted by rootsweb until ancestry acquired and archived it. https://mailinglists.rootsweb.com/listindexes/legacy/other/Religion/BRETHREN.html.

There is a coordinated benefit of being a member of the Fellowship of Brethren Genealogists and subscribing to the Brethren History and Genealogy group, Brethren-genealogy@groups.io in order to network with the overlapping memberships of each group.
